Guide to Property Grading System We work hard to make sure all of the cottages are great value for money. Our vigorous quality control checks allow us to give each cottage a grade based on internal quality and furnishings, giving you a good idea of what it will be like inside. To give you a good indication of the standard of accommodation for our cottages, many of our properties have been graded in line with the requirements of the English Tourism Council’s Star rating scheme:

Grade	Grade Description
*	Acceptable overall level of quality. Adequate provision of furniture, furnishings and fittings.
**	(In addition to what is provided at One Star) Good overall level of quality. Improved levels of furnishings and fittings.
***	(In addition to what is provided at Two Star) Good to very good overall level of quality. Good standard of maintenance and decoration. Ample space and good quality furniture. Microwave.
****	(In addition to what is provided at Three Star) Excellent overall level of quality. Very good care and attention to detail will be obvious throughout. Either be access to a washing machine and dryer or, if not provided in the unit, a 24 hour laundry service.
*****	(In addition to what is provided at Four Star) Exceptional overall level of quality. High levels of décor, fixtures and fittings, together with an excellent range of accessories and many personal touches.
